THE FACTORY
Provence Huiles refines 60,000 Tons of crude oil a year. This oil is mainly from the local French market but can also be imported by sea route.
Provence Huiles refines most kinds of edible oil and in particular grapeseed oil, sunflower oil with high oleic acid content and some non GMO vegetal oil such as canola and soya.
The company achieves ¾ of its turnover in export (Europe / Asia / USA), and is Ecocert certified

THE FACTORY
The group has thanks to its subsidiary Grand Huiles Médiaco access to specialized grapeseed oil titration. This oil is then refined by Provence Oil.
The grape seed comes from the extracted seed from alcohol distilleries after extraction of the alcohol. Around 70,000 Tons of pips are ground every year. These seed are originated in France.
The oil meal is used as fuel. The factory also grinds sunflower seeds coming from south of France with strong oléique content in partnership with the seed suppliers.
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND GRAPE SEEDS
After grinding the pip and extracting the oil, the oil meal is recovered get back the which appears in the form of a spray with an excellent fuel properties (PCI = 4,000 Kcal / T).
This biomass capturing CO2 from the air returns it during combustion.
56,000 T of oil meal allow a saving of 23,000 T of fuel oil thus avoiding air discharge of 73,000 T / year of CO2 of fossil origin.
